(PCE) Populous

A classic strategy game created by Peter Molineaux that was ported to PC Engine in 1990.
The player acts as a deity and has to help the people to prosper and have faith in their God, flatting the ground let the people to buy houses and after 4 are gathered a castle will be built; the more the population growns the more the player gets powers and after a while it will be possible to cast earthquakes and floodings to opponent’s population.
The game was greatly converted and nothing was missing thanks to the huge hucard used (similar to Street Fighter II Champion Edition).
Populous was released only in Japan but it’s not a big problem cause it’s totally in English.
