Horizontal shoot’em up that introduced, with Twinbee, the “cute’em up” subgenre; arcade hit in the middle of the 80s, it was ported to various systems and obviously on PC Engine in 1988.
The player ship, called Opa-Opa moves left and right while the stage loops; the object is to destroy all the bases in the level than face up the stage boss. Through each level a shop will appear and using coins released by killed enemies is possible to power up Opa-Opa weapons, but only temporarily.
The conversion was good and pretty faithful to the arcade.
