Wonderboy V : Monster World III was originally released for Megadrive in 1991 and in 1994 Hudson decided to port the game to PC Engine.
Many changed were made, from a different palette to a different sprite for the main character, the soundtrack also is completely new and anime-style intro and ending sequences were added.
